Soliciting Management Support
Support from management is a key to the success of your Take Action! program. It encourages people to participate in the program and can help create a workplace environment where healthy eating and physical activity is a part of the daily routine. To ensure the support of management, inform managers about the program early on and encourage them to participate. Communicate clearly and often the goal of Take Action!, the benefits to the company and participants, and the resources that will be needed. Ask managers to promote Take Action! and to participate in the program activities.
