Planning Committee
The Planning Committee is responsible for promoting Take Action!, planning activities, recruiting Team Captains, and conducting the evaluation. The size of the committee will depend on the size of your company and the scope of your Take Action! program. Keep the program management structure simple so volunteers don't feel overworked. The committee should include staff who represent various employee groups such as management, human resources, computer support, and communications. If you already have a wellness or health promotion committee or other groups interested in taking on this role, involve them on the committee.
The Planning Committee can be broken into smaller working groups to focus on program phases, such as recruitment, leadership/spirit, celebrations, events, rewards/incentives, and evaluation.
